This Full Moon in Scorpio is about confronting some of our deepest wounds and traumas and transforming them into something positive. I've often described the darkness that lies within us as our own personal dragon that we must fight and slay. I now realize that there is more to this than just slaying the dragon, i.e. facing and overcoming our personal inner demons, and then simply moving on. No, we are meant to make good of this "dragon" by transforming what it represented into something we can work with that is healing not just for us but for others as well. This can be likened to transforming Maleficent the Dragon from Disney's Sleeping Beauty into Puff the Magic Dragon or Pete's Dragon. It's an energy similar to the Strength card in the Tarot, but instead of taming the lion, we are taming the dragon. Our perceived weaknesses and former injuries can then become our greatest strengths. Furthermore, when you are no longer have to fight the dragon because you've tamed it, you free up energy reserves that you can employ elsewhere to accomplish other great feats.
